8 things...

8 favorite TV shows
Hmmm... should I try to be all brainy or sophistimicated? Anyone who reads my blog will know that's not me. So here we go, in no particular order....

Pushing Daisies - Canceled, of course. I didn't like the two main characters but LOVED Cod and the silly, tiny blonde. (Chenowith? yeah, I'm no good with names...)
Masterpiece Theater- I especially like the British episodes. Chuck even watches them with me :0)
The Mentalist & Life- Two similar shows. Must clarify. I pretty much detest CSI and that genre - seem too much like voyeurism to me.. But the guy's on both of these shows are engaging and the premise is a little different. The rest of the characters are mostly stooges, but the main guys (once again I have NO clue about their names) are fun.
Ace of Cakes - I don't watch it all the time. But what's not to like about seeing someone make a 4 foot cake in the shape of an ear, a 3 foot Chinese take out box and sticks, an edible Hogwarts, a 5 foot camera with all the details... all in cake.... I love to see them get a challenge and then watch the problem solving and how they go over at the functions they were created for.... Holy smokes that was a long explanation. Go here to see some of their cakes.
Flight of the Conchords -HILARIOUS!!! Tyson introduced me to this. It reminds me of him as well.
Home Movies - Now there's a cartoon for you. Brenden and Coach McGurk rock.
Samantha Who - Not especially deep, somewhat predictable, but it makes me laugh...
Wheel of Fortune - Chuck and I watch it together, and NO, it's NOT about Vanna. The skinny skank.
Also view: Iron Chef, Medium and Dirtiest Jobs (that Mike Rowe is a HOTTIE! I DO know his name). About the only "reality" show I watch is the occasional Dancing with the Stars, and Biggest Loser- though I end up feeling fat and out of shape afterwards...

8 Things I Did Yesterday:
See forthcoming Spring break Post...

8 Things I am Looking Forward To:
The end of winter! It snowed AGAIN today!
Summer Break
Seeing Grandbabies! and Kids (usually a package deal :0)
Cabin getaways
Family time: 4th of July at the coast, Wildhorse, visits
Outdoor activities:taking pictures, hiking in to lakes, 4 wheeling,
Actually having time to create some "art" be it watercolor, book, or...
Traveling - New Zealand, Alaska... etc....
Time to read

8 Favorite Restaurants:

Arctic Circle - it's the fry sauce.
Sandpiper - Coconut Shrimp. I could it a steamer tray a la Homer Simpson.
Chili's - fajitas. So tasty.
Taco Time - Comfort food and "slick sauce"(great name eh?) with extra add on's that you dish up yourself. Though I think the one in town is the only one with all those extras. Lucky us, Poor you. Come visit.
PF Changs- Lettuce Wraps YUM!
5 Brothers Burgers(?) - The burger place I ate with Jaron and Jenette. Wonderful, watch while they cook it, all from fresh ingredients...I'm salivating as I type. (Though I have to say I like the In& Out down by Kelsey too, just in a different league)
Texas Roadhouse - Good steak and great bread
Bouillon Soup- Our version of the soup nazi Tasty and eclectic combined.
That was harder than I thought it would be....

8 Things on My Wish List
1. De-junked house (I AM working on it...)
2. Children moving somewhere in REASONABLE driving distance.
3. All children in happy, healthy, stable relationships.
4. Health for my parents, siblings, loved ones....
5. Continued good health (non-arthritic thumbs, strong neck....)
6. Enough money to retire and not worry about having to eat dog food
7. Enough memory, health, etc. so my kids won't have to change my Depends, or spoon cereal into my pie hole.
8. World Peace - no really.

So, I'm not tagging anyone.

Well, maybe Brianne.

And Drew

And Alicia.

Oh, and Pei-I

That's it.

Wait, don't want to leave Sean out.

And Tyson, you don't have anything better to do right? You can type while holding Mr. Lincoln. And studying is overrated.

Ok. That's it.

Really.
