Warning!
To those faint of heart. This posts has a LOT of pictures...
This last week has been pretty busy. Good stuff. But busy.
It started out with a lovely dinner and visit at G&G W with Alicia and Korven. The next day after work Alicia came over and Chuck watched Korven while Alicia and I cut out flannel squares so she could practice sewing. Chuck and Korven did a little manly bonding. Good times indeed.

The rest of the week went by in a flash. Chuck got a clean bill of health on his "procedure" and won't have to have that done again for another 10 years. I guess 5 years of prodding, reminding (or as Chuck says nagging) finally paid off. Nice to not have that hanging over his head anymore.
Here's Korven showing off his new drinking from a big boy cup skills.

Well, maybe not the spaghetti sauce all over his face bit.

We wanted to get together again with Alicia on Sat. But, gramma Kris was coming. So, we went with plan B, which was to rent a trailer, load up the piano, the video game console and all the other misc. boxes and things Tyson still had stored here and drive down to their new home.
Amazingly, Chuck and I were able to get the piano loaded without benefit of other help or a hernia in the process.
We took off a little before 8am. Turned out it was a spectacular fall day. We got everything unloaded, ate some delicious Barbacoa sweet pork burritos (Chuck says they are the size of a
baby seal) had the grand tour of the new home - very cute! and returned in time to have only one day of trailer rental.

Back door just off the kitchen.

Heading downstairs.

Stairwell.
This reminds me of the stairwell in J&J's old apt.
Do you think they'll get a sofa to make the corner?!?

The future rec. room.

Something about this picture of him reminds me of the goofy pic of me when I was about a year old with R & G.
The one where I have the rosy apple cheeks and ringlets?
Maybe it's that round head thing again?

Happy boys.

I LOVE Tyson's house. I cannot wait for my little family to be able to get into a real house.
Two grandbabies in one week. Score.
Korven looks a ton like Drew, no doubt about it.
As for Chucks procedure. No clue to what you are referring, but I can imagine at least 2 not very fun things.
The new house is soo cute. They painted great colors, and I'm very envious of the hardwood floors.
No couch will make the corner btw, that is a rec room with chairs only space.
Where is the Master bedroom in that layout? We saw baby room, spare room, kitchen, LR. no parents room. (:
Hope you don't have a delayed hernia from the piano.
I didn't post the master or several of the smaller rooms in the basement, nor the lovely backyard and garage. I spent almost 4 stinkin hours getting that post ready. It was ridiculous! My camera kept seizing up when I was trying to download pics, then the computer locked up and... So, Celiac you are correct. There are a few rooms/things missing. Rest assured they DO have a master bedroom and "someday" I'll add a few more pics.
How could a week with two grandbabies in it be bad? Tysons new house looks fab. Looks like there is lots of room there. I'm sure it is nice for them to have their own home. I still have a hard time thinking that Tyson would "settle" in Utah. It just doesn't seem like "him". Oh well, I guess someone has to live there I suppose. He can only make it better! Great photos of the boys, big & little.
Curious about the Chuck procedures myself??
The procedure is one recommeded to everyone who turns 50. And NO it was not a mamogram. Think farther south.
Hey those are some dang cute kids, even if they are related to you j/k. I am glad everyone is doing so well.
