I have less than a week left before I head back to school. Rather than lament, gnash my teeth and bang my head (useful as those may be) I think I'll put up some pics from some of the fun stuff I managed to do this summer. "Managed" being the key word on a few events (Oregon coast, Tablerock, death march Texas trip...).
Here are some shots from our trip to the coast over the 4th.
Our goal... the beach.
At a rest stop on the way Dom needed a little help feeding the resident squirrels.
But as you can see there are no worries for starvation.

Once we made it to the coast Dom would have been at the beach 24/7 if we had let him.
Here he is waiting for the waves to come in to his truck.

He likes a little reassurance with the hand holding.
Those waves can be scary!

Three generations pondering the waves.
Ready to take on a wave alone!
I've got what? Where?
Here grampa, let me show you how it's done.

Slow day?? This MUST have taken all day to complete all these posts. Great photos though. It looks like it was an awesome summer and now you have a "memory" of it. Fun times for sure.
You aren't a proud grandma though are you??
wow! You went on post overload.
Love to see all the pictures though. Makes it look like the summer was full but with some awfully good stuff.
YOur grandkids can't get any cuter. hearts will break all around. If only they could all be closer to you...there is the rub.
Next year on the death march...super macro!!
I thought the shots looked pretty darn good without though.
