DOM'inator

As of last Sunday evening we have had Mr. Dominik at our home.
I wasn't sure what to expect as he hasn't been around me a whole lot (though he has seen Chuck about once a month). He came and spent a week with great G&G about a month ago. And she said that he was really easy. I would say that, that is a very apt description. He is not only a gorgeous boy, with eyelashes that are ridiculously long, but he really is a little sweetheart.
Seriously. check out those eyelashes!!!

Now don't get me wrong. He is ALL boy. Going out of his way to find a drop of water or bit of dirt to wallow in. Every rock must be thrown. Cars or moving vehicles of any sort entrance him.

He takes his water duties VERY seriously! Note all the water trails in the background.
Put there specially by him to ride through on his trike...

Did I mention that grandpa got him a trike?
Yeah. He had his hands on it from the moment Chuck brought it out of the trunk.
Note the snake eye he's giving me. Like I'm gonna try and wrestle it from him...

In the saddle at last!Pure Joy!You can NOT get cuter than that!

But, other than not wanting to be bothered with eating (too many other things to do), watching him is a piece of cake. I had to bribe him with colored markers to get him to eat his Cheerios this morning. Oh yeah. It worked like a charm.
He LOVES markers and stickers. Here he is helping me put the finishing touches on a package for the mail this morning.

Such dedication eh?
He doesn't mind riding in a car - pointing out all the "Big Trucks" along the road (and there are a ton). He is content to push around any wheeled vehicle for HOURS - especially if there is any water to be found. He has a lot of energy and is very sensitive to the expressions and attitudes of those around him. He goes down for a nap or to bed easily and if he doesn't go to sleep right away entertains himself quietly until he does.
Well, maybe I'm getting ahead of myself here. He has only been here a couple of days and it could be that as he gets more comfortable he'll show a bit more of the "wild" side.
At any rate...I'm enjoying the time with him so far.
Now, if we could just get a "bit" more sunshine so he could play outside for a minute or two...

What a gorgeous, handsome boy. Those lashes are definitely to die for! He is going to be a lady killer for sure. Sounds like you are having a "grand"ma time! I am sure it is nice for both you and Chuck to have to cute little munckin around!

Those are the best eyes. I'm with you, a little more sunshine, a little more kids outside, would make my life a lot better.
