Well, it literally took me all morning to get these three photos to download. I would get the screen up and it would be downloading, downloading, downloading and then give me the unavailable page... I was washing dishes to put back in the china cabinet and would stop, curse, and start all over again. I had to download each photo separately. Then once I finally got them on, I realized that I went from last to first. Ah well, this first photo is of the new fireplace Marcia Payne had put in her house. I put it in because it is the most unusual, and gorgeous I think I've ever seen. The marble comes from someplace in Brazil and when it's cut it looks like different marble stones sliced with black marble filler inbetween. It reminded me of stones behind glass. Anyway, I thought it was amazing and had never seen anything like it.
Next up we have the view of the kitchen and tile per Kelsey's request. We still have to finish tiling the part at the end of the kitchen where the washer and dryer are, but then we'll be done! WooHoo!!!
The final photo is of the pretty new oak kitchen table and chairs Chuck got while I was in Virginia. The chairs are quite comfy and the light color looks good with the rest of the kitchen. The former oak table is currently in the garage. If any of you are interested in having it for yourselves, just let me know. I know it holds great sentimental value for Jaron and Tyson having broken it in with their leather stamping tools.
Well, I'm off to town to test drive a 2002 4-door Echo. Yes, Chuck has decided that he isn't liking the massive gas bill we have been racking up. Roy has one that he can trade his Subaru in on pretty much straight up. It's Silver and if it's anything like the old one it should be pretty great for the mileage. We'll see....

Thanks for posting the pictures. Marcia's fireplace really is beautiful. Before I read the blog, I thought maybe you'd had it installed in the living room or something. The kitchen is looking nice! I think you should re-pot that plant though and get a new plant hanger. With the updated kitchen, it makes that pink look really out of place. And the table and chairs look nice too (although I'm sure you would rather have that $400 beauty that I found on craig's list...)
