Hot time in the city

Ok, there were several times today that I thought I might do a little of the wicked witch of the west melting action. We walked home from church and by the time we got to the front porch I'm sure my feet were starting to curl at the toes. There are a lot of really cute little houses in the neighborhood with some great plants growing in the yards. The kind that LOVE humidity. If I were an hibiscus I would be in heaven.
So, Chloe is pretty good at a number of things. Below you can see her in full Boo! mode. She loves to grab material and pull it over her head.

And then is pretty pleased with herself once she gets the Boo response.
She also gets in her daily piano practice. She loves music and it's even better when there are things to pull, spin, and pry open.
She's a great reader too. This particular book has sparkly fish. She really likes sparkly things. She has spent considerable time sucking on my watch since I've arrived. I'm not sure if it's because she is teething or has an early start on a jewelery fetish.
She makes the heat bearable!

I'm glad you are surviving the heat! Now, you could totally handle AZ summers because there is NO humidity (except in monsoon season, but just a little) and it's way better.
