Sorrow

Numb.
Fractured.
Scattered.
Disengaged.
Bereft.
Lost.
Sad.
Weepy.
Out of breath.
Sobbing.

Just words.

Descriptive in part, of how I feel much of the day.

I go about my everyday business and think "Oh, I'll just ask/tell mom...

-then I can't breath.

And I start to weep.

And my head hurts.

And my side aches.

I miss my mom.

It hurts.

I want to carry on in a way that would make her proud
- but can't seem to get beyond the emotion and pain.

I'm trying...
and hopefully that is enough for now.

I am so so sorry for your loss. I can only imagine the heartbreak you are feeling. I would be the same way if I lost my mom.

Everything feels just wrong now, and all the externals: job, money, belongings... feel so trivial.

How did I ever care about buying a cute chair? ........Stupid.

I am so sorry for your loss. No matter how old we are (not that we are old) it still hurts to lose your mom. My mother passed away nearly nine years ago and I was talking to a friend about her yesterday and "teared up" to the point I couldn't speak. Sending a hug your way.

Oh Karen:
I am very sorry for your lost and I don't know what to say. But we are lucky to know that you will meet her again later. Hugs and kisses.

I am so very sorry. We love you and please call if you ever need to talk. I wish there was something I could actually do!
