This is my mom when she was little. 
I love the look of mischief in her eyes.
Mom has always been a shy, private person
and is NOT a big fan of Mother's day.
However,
I thought she might not mind if I shared these images from back in the day.
She has always been a lovely person both inside and out.
She did an incredible job raising 8 rambunctious children with distinct
and sometimes infuriating personalities.
She always seemed to be in control, consistent and patient.
She assures me she was not.
She was, and continues to be, a shining example of kindness, service and faith.
I am blessed because of her presence, guidance and counsel.
She is motherhood.

Very nice tribute to all, but you forgot one amazing person that you know--you!! Course I guess you really can't do a tribute to yourself. So I will just say that all you said about our mom & the new moms so applies to you! You are an amazing mom yourself!!
