Oh HO ! It's Snow!

So, the forecast was for "light" snow showers. This is what we've gotten so far today and it's still snowing! I'm actually loving it! It's the first "real" snow we've had this year. I doubt we'll get a snow day tomorrow because of the way the district has changed the closure policy (though I'd love to be wrong!). But I figure if it's going to be cold we should at least have some snow. Jaron told me they had 10 inches in VA this morning and that their church was canceled. No such luck here.
Anyway - Merry Christmas to us! :0)

Chuck in seventh heaven out blowing snow!
The big pile in the foreground is from snow sliding off our metal roof...I'd say we have about 8-10 at this point.

Yay for snow. My kids have never had a snow day. They don't happen very often, but good luck.

Yeah, Jason went to Pebble last night and said it was snowing when they left. From the looks of it, it snowed all night!

Yes, I did find my credit card, but they have to send me a new one anyway. I am an idiot!

Well, now is the only time of year I will crow about the temps down here.
In truth I miss the snow a bit, but given the complainer I seem to be I would complain about the snow if I were up there.

Enjoy!!

Hopefully It won't be too big a mess when I'm there next week!

Merry Christmas to you! We woke up to a skiff this mornign in Boise...nothing to crow about IMO...but of course the kids were all riled up in Primary. Good Luck with the snow day...that would be wonderful!

School would have been canceled here for sure!! They canceled school in the district for Thursday, on Wednesday morning with only 4 inches because the forecast called for 8-10 inches. We only got 6 total! The kids were happy!

I love all the pictures of your little ones!! They are all so stink'n cute! I always love the inserts under each picture, clever one!

I BET Chuck was in 7th heaven. That's some serious snow. We didn't get any this year, and I suspect with temperatures in the 50s lately we won't at all. It's fun here because it usually doesn't stay long (except last year). I have to say like Celiac I hope it doesn't stay until we come. I really do not want to drive in serious snow while I am there!!
