So, 12 days ago I was cleaning my smudged glasses (a pet peeve of mine) and they broke at the bridge by the nose piece. I was at a friends house and in order to drive home I perched the remaining lens on my nose and closed the missing lens eye to drive. I'm sure there was more than a slight resemblance to a certain cartoon sailor who eats spinach and has bulging forearms. Since then I have been wearing my old glasses which are pretty close on the regular portion of the glasses, but are woefully weak on the reading section. So, everyday by the end of the day my eyes have been tired and I've had a slight headache. Good times.
Here's the deal...I can't see well enough without my glasses to know how any new frames look on my big melon. I would look at the frames with my glasses on and then stick them on and it would all be a blur. My optician "used" to have a program that would snap a picture and you could look at it on the computer. Wasn't working of course. So, in the end I found some inexpensive glasses(about 300 bucks cheaper than at the eye doctor's) at Costco that the girl working there said "looked good". Bottom line, I'm just thrilled to be able to read something and not have to stand on my head to do it. What do you think? A bargain eh?!?

I LOVE the glasses. They are stylish and sassy and they look so good on you! I have yet to be disappointed with a Costco purchase, I think you made a great choice!

I like the way they look...I'm still adjusting to the new perscription and the gradated lenses and the frame is a little "stiffer" than others I've had in recent past. So, looks are good, comfort level and sight - the jury's still out. We'll see in a week or so.
