The living room about a week ago...
old vanity and cabinet with incoming new vanity and cabinet....
old vanity and cabinet with incoming new vanity and cabinet....

And other than getting one more towel ring to match the other new bathroom accessories and painting the door that goes into the built in closet the remodeling is done.
(YAY!!!)

I LOVE the counter top!
We got lucky as it could have been ghastly choosing from the two inch blurry photo on the website.

We also got an unfinished cabinet which I stained to as close a shade to the vanity as I could find. It looks pretty ok considering they are two different types of wood. The cabinet was narrower than the one we originally looked at but the space in between the cabinet and the vanity was just right to accommodate the new wicker hamper.

Now, all I have to do is get some decent weather to stain that closet door (YES! It is STILL raining pretty much every stinkin day!) Oh, and put away all the "stuff" from the old cabinets and drawers into the new ones. The rate I'm going that could be the end of the summer.
(PS...I know I went a little overboard on the following grandson posts - there are three-. But, keep in mind that I don't get to see these boys all that often so when I do... well let's just say I justify the purchase of my camera. Be sure to go to click on older posts because the one of Lincoln is on there.)

Beautiful!! Nicely done. It looks great and must feel great to have it done. Your man does good work. I should have Dennis look at this. Maybe he will get inspired about our downstairs bathroom which is a shambles!!
Whew! Makes me tired. It looks fabulous....enjoy:)
Wow, the house looks great. And all those baby boy photos are adorable. Can't wait til 4th of July!

It looks so nice!!
Can't wait to see it in person. I'll bet it just feels so sparkly and clean.
You two worked hard and it looks great.
I tell ya, you people make it look easy!! It looks great! We just finished a project that would have defiantly failed miserably if it weren't for my dad. I just kept telling Aaron how easy it was going to be-yeeaaah when your not the one doing it-hehe!
