But, the good news is all the cold weather has brought in a bunch of colorful birds.

According to our bird book these guys don't come this far west.
I LOVE all their bright spring colors.

Here's an update on the bathroom remodel progress...
Chuck got some bullnose tile to finish the top and edges of the tile.
He has laid all but about 10 of the tiles. He moved the heater up on the wall so that we can put in a longer vanity and have more usable space.
He's done a nice job.
There's only a little section on the floor and some small sections of wall by the door that remain to be tiled.
Then we'll put in the new vanity and sink.
Check out the rust on this old piece of plumbing from under the sink.
So... that's the scoop from our place...
(I have photos from the trip I need to upload - but they're on the computer at school - later this week.)

The keep saying the weather up here is not usual, but I don't know what is unusual about rain in Seattle in May. I think they are confused. You however are having weird weather. Loved all the colorful birds. The bathroom remodel looks fab. Can't wait to see Chuck's handiwork in person.

I giggled when I saw your title, but not when I saw the pictures. I am sick of this weather and need some sunshine.
I was sooo sure I would bring the heat and sunshine with me, but alas it was not to be.
It has frozen every night I've been back!

Hey...none of those birds have showed up at my feeders :(! I could sit and watch those beautiful birds all day...nice shots! Congrats on the new bathroom...always fun...mostly when it's done, though.
