Sunday, Sunday

Ty sent me this great pic from this morning.
I hope Lincoln is always this excited about going to church and brushing his teeth.
And what a snazzy dresser he is too!

Meanwhile I was sitting in a gym all day listening to information regarding possible/probable deployment for the Chuckmeister in the coming year.
Yeah, no contest about whether I would have preferred to be at church with Lincoln (or any of my kids or grandbabies). But, you do what you have to do right?

On another note...I went to a play last night with my next youngest sister. The play is "The Syringa Tree" and it was put on by a theater group that moved out west from Broadway. It was a one woman play and absolutely amazing. She played the part of 23 different characters. She was on stage for 90 minutes straight and didn't miss a step. It was a touching story of a black and white family from the 1960's to the present dealing with family relations and apartheid. The small theater is a renovated movie house in a small town. We had to drive several hours to see the play and it got done late. But it was definitely worth it. I LOVE to see live theater. And this woman was phenomenal. She made it all seem effortless and you were right there with her the whole way. Plus, I got to spend time on the way there and back visiting with my sis. It was a good night.

Thinking about your grandbabies WOULD be better than thinking about Chuck deploying. And what adorable subjects you have to work with. I wish I was that excited about going to church myself!

Lincoln is a cutie! It looks like he might have taken a header right after that shot though? (:

The play is hard to envision, but it must have been amazing to have one person perform all of that.
Glad you enjoyed it, and it was worth all the arranging with sis II.

How is the hair doing? Lots of appropriate compliments I'm assuming.
Soak it in!

I hope that Chuck won't have to go again. I know that sucks for you! You will have to make your kids feel guilty about being all alone and maybe they will visit you more. That's how my mom does it.

I am glad you got to see your sis, and the play sounds fun. I am taking the kids to a play tomorrow "The Jungle Book". Hope it is as good as yours was!
