Today was a "free day". That is, one that I "allowed" myself to do anything that I wanted. I dithered around doing piddly stuff all morning until early afternoon. Then I decided I would try a little watercolor. I had some pics of different delphinium because that's what Aleta had said she would like for her watercolor. I can really tell that I am out of practice with watercolor - or it just wasn't my day - or something. I am not exactly pleased with the outcome. It's stiff, not a great composition and looks more like a blue daffodil than any sort of delphinium.
BUT...I DID paint! So, I suppose that's a start...
I think I'll probably spend some time now getting a post with pics from the coast, hiking, visits etc. I'm pretty sure I'll be more satisfied with that outcome.

Hey, I'm thrilled you managed to paint for a day. It is hard to paint "cold", and I think it is a lovely little botanical study.
