HUGE sigh of relief! I have all the big boxes that need to be mailed wrapped, and I do mean wrapped, sitting in my car waiting to be shipped after school today. I think it's a family tradition to use at least a roll and a half of packing tape per box. No matter the size of box. Now I can "almost" see the bed in the spare room -though there are still PLENTY of things to wrap and do. Next on the list is the annual Christmas letter. Seems like every year it gets harder for me to start it. This year after reading all the clever writing on peoples' blogs I find myself a somewhat intimidated and feeling dumber. I'm beginning to suspect that there may indeed be something to losing brain cells and becoming more boring as one ages.... Or perhaps I never was clever, I just thought I was and now that I'm older I see the error of my ways. Oh dear... how did I get on this track?!?
Back to the original idea. I'm excited that I've got the boxes ready to ship. And can now get to work on the train wreck of the living room with Christmas decoration boxes spewing contents in every direction.

Hey, you are way ahead of me. Good for you. I am going to count my blog as my Christmas card/letter this year. That was one of the things that had to go.
Oh the feeling of putting all those boxes in the mail. AAhhhhh!!
Soo rewarding!
eeeuuuwww... the feeling of inadequacy. We all have it (save a few self-indulged individuals among whom you cannot be counted)
I say if you enjoy writing the letter write it. If you don't don't.
I think the triple-wrapped package thing comes from mom. I know every package I have ever gotten from her is pretty much covered in packaging tape and almost impossible to get into. Good for you.
Did you get a high when you sent those off? I'll bet you did...
