Attitude of Gratitude

Seems to me like I've done a fair amount of grumbling, whining and out and out complaining of late. Sunday someone reminded me how much I have. So, today rather than complain about having partial vision from a rather nasty migraine (does mentioning that count as a complaint?) I chose to start a list of things for which I'm grateful.
So, in no particular order, here we go -

I'm thankful for:
My cheese making, mountain climbing, cabin lovin husband.

My Children ....Scattered though they may be.

Grandbabies!!!
Health - I've been really blessed to have a strong body and no major illnesses.
Fruit - I had a bowl of fresh blackberries and strawberries with fresh cream for breakfast this morning. (Thanks Chuck!)

Medicine
Whether it's for pain, infection, or all around general health.

Oh yeah, I wanted to post this pic for Miste and Dennis who are celebrating 20 years!!!

Well, that's it for today.
It's a start.
It's taken me WAY too long to upload these pics, what with the partial vision thing going on.

What are YOU grateful for today???

Let's see... I'm grateful for lots of things. This week, I've been grateful for daycare. And hopefully this weekend I'll be grateful for wonderfully behaved girls.

I'm grateful for the internet that lets us all stay connected even though we are all spread out! It's nice to be able to peek at everyone's blogs and get a little slice of what is going on in people's lives!

I love that picture of Miste and Kelsey. I also am grateful for these blogs letting us stay in touch although I really don't like doing it. I'm grateful for fall and my family and you. Thanks for making me thing about it.

What a wonderful post! Great pics! In church today, a little boy got up to bear his testimony and kept saying "I'm Thank You for" instead of "I'm thankful for"...very sweet. So I'm Thank You for too many things to list in the comments. Thanks for reminding me!

To have the best mom in the world! Given the fact that we are expecting, I've been thinking alot lately about about parenthood and what a sacrifice it is. We just watched Spanglish last night and it reminded me of all the sacrifices that you made to raise the three of us on you own for so long before you met chuck. You are amazing and I miss you very much!

Much love,

Jaron
