My Birthday Girl!

.

I had great intentions of being able to post a glowing tribute to Miss Kelsey-the best daughter in the world. But, in order to grant her, her birthday wish -
spending time being creative at the craft shop- I got to watch the other two little cuties. And, I have to say, I am a pushover for big soulful eyes and killer smiles. So, here it is almost midnight and I am scrambling to put something up. (I wouldn't trade a minute of being with those girls).
I promise to do a fitting tribute (complete with embarrassing photos from the past) at a later date. Let me just post a couple of the things that make her so unique. She is a gentle soul with an amazing love of all things living (except perhaps mosquitoes and other pesky bugs). She is one of the most creative people I know- artistic, music, writing and she's smart too!. She can do anything she puts her mind to - whether it is making a one of a kind quilt (that's one of the things she did today) or figuring out how to lay flooring or ceramic tile. She isn't afraid to try something new. She is an amazing mom. She has overcome all sorts of obstacles pursuing her dreams and I have no doubt she will continue to succeed and amaze. Happy Birthday! I love you sweet pea!
(Here at two of her finest works of art.)
Chloe was having a little time out in front of the fabric store - she REALLY wanted a bag of buttons! Is that a pathetic face or what?)

Happy Birthday Kelsey. It looks like you're all having a great time and I look forward to a little visit this weekend. I know Dom would love to play with Chloe. Give me a jingle!! Maybe we can go to the park or zoo or something.

Those are ALL darling pictures of your darling granddaughters! What cuties! I love the one of them touching hands through the window...that one needs a frame! Looks like you're having a very enjoyable time :) HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Kelsey...even though you don't really know me :) I'd love to see that quilt when it's all done!!!

Whoa whoa whoa WAIT! You went to Italy? Were you ever going to tell me this? Did you know I served my mission there, in Milan? Oh dear, please email all the details. I can't believe I spent the entire weekend with you and never heard about this. PLUS, there was a huge group of Italians just sitting in the hotel lobby in Moses Lake and I sat and talked to them in Italian for a bit. It was so fun! Wow, I love the pictures.

And I love your granddaughters. Visiting with you and Kelsey were some of my favorite things we did at the reunion. Love you!
