Mayday! Mayday!

Well actually it's more like Christmas! Christmas! Check out my poor little daffodils... I thought to myself last night "I should go and cut a few of those for the house. Oh, I'll get them in the morning..." Yea... So, we have at least 3 inchs of snow and more is coming down, blowing around. It feels like winter all right. Two days ago I came to school in sandals without a coat. Today I wore my winter coat, gloves and shoes - didn't quite need the snow boots, but they are still in the back of my car. Global warming, schmobile warming... At least our water table should be rising with all the mositure we've been getting this "spring".

In other news, Moose is getting twice a day doses of antibiotics. He has been in quite a bit of pain since the weekend and after a $300+ visit to the vet the best they could come up with is "some kind of infection". He makes a terrible noise when he tries to use the little box and is pretty lethargic. Pain does that. The vet did say he was in excellent health for a 14 year old cat. He is the best cat we've ever had, not to mention the priciest. Let's see there was the big infection in the house on Elizabeth, the big infection last spring and now the big infection this spring. Yep, he's one valuable cat if you add it all up. But, I'm guessing that in spite of his incredible drooling capabilities everyone who has known him would have to say he has been worth it. Even I would have to admit he's been great. And now he has that cool sneer as a result of the vet yanking a tooth last year...What a cat.

So. I have three art shows done and two left to go. I do admit that I'm getting a bit worn out with it all. Not to mention the bit teacher in my classes, taking students to competitions, committees, purchasing supplies, you know all that "little" stuff teachers do. But hey, we get the summer off..... Let's say I'm ready for this year to be over and hopefully next year not get wrangled into "quite" so many extra things.... Yes I'm aware. There is that word, "no". But sometimes you don't even get given the option.
Ok, I started this post this morning and now it's early evening and I still have to matt some more pictures for tomorrows art show. I'll close with two pics of Miss Chloe "daintly" eating her tacos. Yeah, that's the way I eat em too.

Those taco guts are hard to keep inside! I agree on the global warming smobal warming. We have had more snow this year and later in the year than ever before! Weird
