Well not only did we get some new snow today, we got a new grandbaby too! Korven (middle name as yet unknown) Whittier was born at 6:38pm (same exact time that Dominik was born- cue the Twilight zone music) and weighed in at 6lbs. 2 oz, and was 19 1/2 inches long. He just happened to be awake and with his eyes open when we got there so I got some pretty decent shots, especially for being less than an hour old. Well, I guess he did have some of that cool greasy goo around his eyes from the crap they put in right after birth. Makes him look like he just had a facial or something. I didn't get any of pics of him without the nifty blue and pink striped cap, but he does have some hair too. I'We arrived a little after 7pm and Alicia was sitting up in bed eating a sandwich looking pretty much like she did when we had dinner together last Sunday. Her hair was in place, her color was good, if you didn't know better you'd think she hadn't just been through labor. Amazing! I on the other hand had wild hair, tired feet and a droopy face. I looked like I had been through labor. Drew was sporting Korven's footprints on his arm and was quite the proud pappy!
It all went well and what a blessing to have him here safely. We left while Alicia was trying to get through the first feeding and latching on experience...Good times.Well, It's getting late and I have a big day tomorrow so I'm
going to wrap this up. Happy May Day to one and

I think he looks like a little minature Drew too. He has his nose and mouth. Glad he made it here safely.
Ok, I thought I left a comment, but I guess I forgot to hit the publish button. What I wanted to say is that Drew and Alicia's baby is really cute. I mean it. I don't just say those kinds of things. Congratulations to the new parents!
Congrats to Drew & Alica. I guess I must have missed the picture of Alicia looking put together. I think the footprints on Drews arm are sweet! Glad little Koven came into the world okay. Fun times!
What an adorable family! Congratulations to Drew and Alica. He is definitely a handsome little keeper!
