Hap, Hap, Happy New Year!

Well, that will probably be marked as one of my most "memorable" New Year's Eves of all times! Why? Well, let's just say it included one of the most severe migraines of memory complete with nausea and projectile vomiting, the latter wrecking havoc with my tender surgery incision sites. Yeah baby! Who says my youngest sister has a corner on the PARTAY market?!?
Yeah, so I think one of the last things I took to try and kill said migraine had some caffeine in it and that combined with Chuck's "deep breathing" (compounded by his cold) are not very conducive to sleep. Yeah, I know - wah wah. It's now 2am and I am nibbling on crackers and trying to decide how long I'll be able to sit here. Not long methinks.
All whining aside, I do have to say that 2007 really was a rather decent year overall. I got to see all of my family at one point or another and to greet two new arrivals as well. I did some traveling, ate some good food, spent time with friends, saw some good movies, read a few good books, and other than the last day of the year, enjoyed pretty good health. I AM grateful for all the wonderful things with which I have been blessed, family, friends, health, food, clothing, shelter, freedom and soon I will be able to sit and type about it a little more. For now, the aforementioned incision sites are beginning to ache so I guess I'll brave the snore zone. Happy New Year! No Really, I mean it this time!

Hey, I didn't have a very good new years either! I wrote about it in my blog. I hope you're doing better now, and I really hope the vomiting didn't mess up anything with your surgery. Love you!

Must say you do know how to party, but frankly am glad my night was nothing like yours. Hope you are much, much, better

Oh man- that sounds horrible. I have to admit although I feel bad for you I still think projectile vomit is pretty cool. I hope you are feeling much better and are on the mend. What a way to ring in the new year- we shall say that was in 2007 and hopefully it will stay there.

I too think that you will remember this new years far more than any other Partay! I hope one day in the future you will look back on this day and laugh with glee and your bladder will be as tight as tupperware!
Glad you are improved.
Take it easy!!

I'm glad I don't PARTAY that way! Doesn't sound fun at all. We played cards like always and I was the big winner for the night ($65) There was no vomiting projectile or otherwise not even by the drunks (at least while I was there--what happened after we left...well, who cares!) Hope you are feeling better and 2008 is "tight as Tupperware" as Celiac says!
