You know you are old when you don't even have to put on a Halloween costume to be frighteningly, scary. This pic is from the last event of an entire day spent with single adults in one way or the other last Saturday. The event was dipping chocolates so it wasn't as painfull as pic would indicate. The same girl who took the lovely photo of me on the horse snapped this ever so charming one as well. I think she has a future eh? I'm getting even more photogenic as time goes by... If had had more time I'd take this into photoshop and have a little fun with it. But there's that time issue again.
Last night I "got" to go to book club. I ended up giving a lady a ride, conducting the meeting, serving refreshments and also presenting the book. Yes, it was ever so relaxing. I tell you I did a speed reading of the "edited" book, a Thousand Splendid Suns (excellent book - at least the part I was able to read). I had spent about 4 hours going over what I was given at the last minute and trying to make 2 hours fit into one. Like I said - relaxing. I have stuff tonight and tomorrow night. But, I "think" I get Saturday off.... I think?

Haha! That is a funny pic. I could go for some chocolate right now. Thanks for the prayers with this job interview. Hopefully it will go well and also hopefully we can visit with you soon. Dom really is getting big. Today I'm going to try and get him his first haircut. Everyone keeps thinking he's a girl. I would have thought his boy clothes would give them a hint. Guess not.
Bri,- It's cause he's so dang cute!
Ok, it is official. You need "NO" counseling. I'm not the one to give it, but if that word doesn't enter your vocabulary you will scedule yourself into oblivion!
The photo is classic, but I have Oh so many that would put it to shame.
Hopefully our paths will cross sometime.
I laughed right out loud. It actually is scary. The red tones make it look like your head is about to explode! Who knew you secretly had rabbit teeth?? Thank goodness we all know the photographer didn't capture the true, beautiful you! Sister C is right! You do need to add the word "No!" to your vocab. I have added it recently and it really is helpful. Just try it once I'm sure you will get to like it!! I know it's hard but you can do it. I did it just Tuesday night. It took a big deep breath to do it but I did it. If I can do it you can too!!!!
That picture is great. Just be thankful your teeth don't really look like that. Book club sounds stressful, but I would like to get some reading recommendations from you. Have you read My Sisters Keeper by Jodi Picoult?
You know I thought that book title sounded familiar but I couldn't figure out why. I just looked it up and of course it was familiar becasue I read it this summer!! (What a dunce.) I thought it was quite good to--although not as good as his first book. A great read though.
This picture is hilarious. Karen- you really don't look like that but I am so glad you are willing to post it. The book club sounds...um...fun. Haven't they ever heard of everyone helping out. That was funny that Chuck asked if you were going to be the audience to. :)
