Yes, it actually WAS a relaxing trip to the cabin! We left Friday right after school and went as far as Missoula, got up and got to the cabin aroun noon on Saturday. We puttered around and did a few small jobs. None of which included killing packrats or other pesky critters, as there were none of those about:0) We did do a little digging to widen the drive and I primed the lower cabinets in the kitchen.I began a book and finished it before bedtime!
We woke up Sunday morning to rain and so we actually didn't really get up until around noon. That has got to be a new record for Chuck! I started and finished ANOTHER book by the end of Sunday. Admittedly, the two books were not exactly War & Peace type books, but they had more than 100 pages and were normal size print. We got up early Monday to head home. We went a different way for the first part. It was over a pass and by the river. (St. Joe?) It was really lovely. It reminded me of the Salmon river drive but with a lot more greenery.
So, yeah, that's how we celebrated our 14th anniversary. And now, it's two more days of finals with students and then wrap up the grading, cleaning and the school year's done! Woo Hoo!!! This time next week I'll be on a plane on my way to Texas! Then a week later on to VA! I'm pretty stoked about that I must say!

That cabin is beautiful! Have fun seeing all my cousins I never get to see.
Hey, the cabin actually looks pretty cute. I'm impressed. I'm glad you had a relaxing weekend.
You'll have to let us know sometime when you are going over so we can come for a visit this summer. Looks very peaceful and serene. I'm sure the boys could still manage to find entertainment. It would be fun to meet you there!
